ANOTHER VETERAN DEAD
Pneumonia Results Fatally After Illness Of One Week Levi Pearsall, a respected citizen of this town, died at his home east of this village, Wednesday evening, July 10, in the 64th year of his age. Death was due to an attack of pneumonia.

Mr. Pearsall was born in Lysander, N.Y., but the greater part of his life had been passed in this locality. He was resident of the town of Lock for twenty-three years and five years ago he moved to this town where he has since resided. He was a veteran of the Civil War, having served in the Ninth New York Heavy Artillery. He was a member of the George C. Stoyell Post, G. A. R., of this village. The deceased was held in high regard by those who knew him. He had been a member of the M. E. church for many years.

Mr. Pearsall is survived by two daughters, Mrs. J. E. Showers of Canastota and Miss S. Agnes Pearsall of this town, and three sons, Charles L. of Lestershire, Ira L. of Ithaca and Ralph B. of Auburn. Mrs. Pearsall died two years ago.

The funeral will be held at the late home Saturday at 2 o'clock. Rev. W. S. Lyon will officiate and burial will be made in Indian Mound--
