Mrs. Alice Pearsall, 69, wife of Charles Pearsall of Locke, died Sunday afternoon, Jan. 4 1953, in the Auburn City Hospital, where she had been ill the past three weeks.She was an active member of the Locke Methodist Church, giving much of her time to the work she was assigned to and so dearly loved. She was treasurer of the W.S.C.S., secretary of the Sunday School, and superintendent of the Home Department of the Church School. She was a member of Virginia Asher Business Women's Group of Binghamton.
Her unfailing devotion to her family and her thoughtfulness and kindness to all in the community will always be remembered. Surviving are her husband; a brother, Loren Bradley of Fredonia; and several nephews and nieces.M
Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Locke Methodist Church. The Rev. Paul Kirkpatrick, pastor of the church officiated, assisted by Rev. Orlo Stewart. Bearers were Raymond Hargett, Jr., Ray Hargett, Sr., George Adams, Francis Benedict, Howard Baker and George Hotchkiss. Burial was in Floral Park Cemetery, Johnson City.
