Westfield, N.J. (AP)-Jay Herbert Pearsall, 80, descendant of an early American family, died at Gainesville, Fla., relatives here learned yesterday. Pearsall, a native of Brooklyn, lived in Westfield from 1888 to 1926, when he retired and moved to Melrose, Fla., his present home. He was a descendant of the first Pearsall fmaily which came to this country from England in 1642. The family founded Pearsalls, Long Island, which is now Lynbrook, and Pearsall, Tex. _
