W. F PEARSALL DEAD; FREEPORT PIONEER

Funeral services for William F. Pearsall, 65, clerk in the Hempstead Town Hall and pioneer fire fighter of Freeport, will be held 2 P.M. tomorrow at the Fulton funeral home, Freeport, with burial following Greenfield Cemetery, Hempstead.
Pearsall, who 35 years ago organized the Russell Park Hose Compnay in what is now Freeport, died of a heart attack Sunday while emptying a bird bath at his home, 88 Leonard Ave., Freeport.
Born in Canarsie in 1875, he moved to Russell Park, 40 years ago. He was a member of the American Mechanics, Elks and Odd Fellows, in which he had held every office.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Edith M. Pearsall; a daughter, Mrs. Alma Smith; a son, Sgt Herbert Pearsall of the Freeport Police Department; two brothers Alva Pearsall and Harry Pearsall, Mrs. Clara Raynor, Freeport and Mrs. Mabel Hubbert, Patchogue.
