The Electronic Writing Assignment
Instructions:

   
While at your site, choose one item you find interesting.
                        Read that item and soak up the new knowledge!


    Write a short (!) email to me that includes the following info for each site visit:
    

   
     HEADING: your name, period, EGRAM #1 (or 2... or 3...)
         
a.) what site it is, what topic and why you chose this topic (may just be: "Just Curious");
          b.) what you learned;
          c.) what you're going to do to implement this new knowledge
.

Your email should be short... but specific! **it should include one site A OR one site B visit. I prefer you beginning with site A.
You may turn in up to 2 in one email. You may turn in items EARLY.

Grading

You will get 10 pts. per email, based on COMPLETION. (on the rubric, this means that only the "content" section counts).

A few days after sending your email, you should receive a "recvd" receipt. Please save these until you see your next grade printout. This will cut down on any confusion if there are lost notes, computer viruses, etc. If you have computer problems and for some bizarre reason can't use PHS computers, see me for a hard copy version of this assignment!


     
EACH EMAIL is worth 10 points. 50-80 points per quarter.
