1984/ Brave New World propaganda review
As you are reading Orwell's or Huxley's book, you are sure to notice that the respective governments use massive propaganda techniques to keep their citizens "in line." You will be preparing your own "Public Service Announcement"/ advertisement/ etc. for your book. Before you begin, however, I'd like you to peruse the following sites and answer the following questions:

      1. What is propaganda?
      2. What is propaganda for?
      3. What are some "positive" and "negative" examples of propaganda?
      4. What are the different methods/ techniques of propaganda?

Take notes, because part of your final will include this information. Read through the information deeply or just broadly. Be curious. Look around. Think! Get ideas!

You may also choose to do a web search to find more propaganda/ advertising techniques.

Talk with your group about what you discover (or, if you're working independently, talk with yourself-- ha ha!).  Your challenge is to use some of these techniques in your project.
