Veruca Salt Veruca Salt is spoiled right down to her bones. She's one of the most brattiest children I have ever heard of. She is just a bad nut! This is all thanks to the parents Mr. and Mrs. Salt. Veruca Salt, when she was on the tour, went into the Nut Room which she was not suppose to. There were squirrels in that room. As soon as she took one step inside the room the squirrels tackled her and she was knocked down. The Head squirrel knocked on Veruca's head. It made a hollow noise. Then all at once the squirrels picked her up and put her down the bad nut chute! When Mr.Salt went to see where Veruca went the squirrels pushed him down too! When Mrs. Salt went to see where Veruca and Mr. Salt went the squirrels pushed her down too! I think Roald Dahl was trying to say don't spoil your children right down to their bones. I don't like anything about Veruca Salt because she's a spoiled brat! By: O.R.

Violet Beaurgarde Violet chews gum all day long and at night she she sticks the gum on her bed poles. When she eats something else she sticks the world breaking gum behind her ear. I would describe my character like this. She has curly orange hair and blue eyes. Violet has world breaking gum in her mouth. In the tour Mr. Willie Wonka took her into his secret room that no ones allowed in. He showed them his secret machine. It made a piece of bubblegum with a whole course of meal. Violet started to chew and first came the tomatoes soup, then the turkey but when the blueberry pie came Violet became a blueberry. Rald Dahl tried to teach a lesson to Violet because he knew that kids out there are like that and chewing gum so much is a bad habit. I don't like Violet in person because she is mean, greedy, selfish, bad, and a disgrace to blueberries. By: Charlotte |
Charlie Bucket Charlie is thankful for what he gets He is way better behaved than all the other kids. Charlie's family is very poor. He can not afford much food. He is the nicest kid on the tour. On the tour Charlie got to ride in the elevator and he got to own the factory. I like Charlie as a person because he is a big loving person in every way. I think R. Dahl is trying to teach kids to listen to teachers and parents and owners. By: Chris

Charlie Bucket I choose Charlie Bucket. He is nice and poor and thankful and loving. He won a year supply of chocolate and the chocolate factory itself. I think R. Dahl was trying to teach Charlie to think for himself. I like Charlie very very much because he is nice and needs a friend and he owns a chocolate factory. By: Sarah |
