LAND & AGRICULTURE INFORMATION



The acreage is level to rolling uplands with clay loam soil predominant. The soil is fertile, well-drained, moderately permeable and stores water favorably. Indian grass, little bluestem, old world bluestem, Texas winter grass, Maximilian sunflower, bush sunflower, Illinois bundle flower, wild rye, silver bluestem, buffalo grass are among the native vegetation. Trees include elm, live oak, mesquite, pecan, cedar and Bois d' arc. Wild plum and mustang grape thickets.

Sudan, oats and rye grasses produce well in cultivation.

Fenced and cross-fenced with quality materials.

Property is in the Monarch migrating path. It is home to the rare Texas Horned Lizard (Horney Toad). Excellent bird watching and game bird hunting. Deer population is moderate.
