Hollister & Co.: It's this wicked cool store that just opened in the local mall. I read an article about it. Supposedly, Abercrombie and Fitch noticed that older kids had stopped buying their clothes, because the little kids had been shopping there and were now walking around in Abercrombie and Fitch shizznit. So Abercrombie decided to create a store for younger kids with cheaper prices and a more "pacific surf-style". Hence, Hollister & Co. Now there's just one thing that doesn't make too much sense to me. If you ask any college student if they would pay $39.00 for an Abercrombie shirt, or $15.00 for a Hollister shirt, I guarantee you each time, the college kid will say, "I'm a broke-ass college student. What do you think?". Like, why Abercrombie thinks that college kids are going to spend more money for their clothes instead of spending tons less on cuter clothes boggles my mind. Most young kids' parents buy their clothes. So shouldn't that demographic have more expensive prices? Because I sure as hell don't give a crap if young kids are wearing Hollister clothing, because hell, it looks good on me. And I'm paying quite little for it. Anyways, I have spent at least $150.00 there already, and I plan on doing almost all of my school shopping there. So if you're in the Ann Arbor area, just give it a little look-see. Oh, and the cologne they sell, (for a whopping $12.50!) is addictive. I buy their clothes, and really don't want to wash them because they smell so good. I have to though, and it's sad. If you are a male, go and get this cologne, because I swear to god, it is the best smelling cologne ever. EVER.

Chocolate Chip Ice Cream Cookie Sandwiches: We sell these things at the concession stand I work at, in the waterpark, and dear god, are they delicious little buggers. I have to exercise great restraint and control when I'm at work, because they sing their "come eat us Leah, we are yummy and tasty" song to me at all times. It's very hard to resist. Since I've worked there, I've managed to only eat three. And I've been there for a month and a half or so. They're like a little slice of orgasm. I swear, they are so good. Damn you ice cream cookie sandwiches. Damn you and your magnetic personality. I mean, taste.

Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee My new favorite X-box game. This thing can keep you occupied for freaking hours. I'm telling you. It's really a fantastic game because it makes you think really hard. Basically each level is this huge complicated problem to solve in order to pass it. The back story is really freaking cool too. In some other world, there's these things called Mudokans, and they were used as slaves by these ugly dudes, and then they revolted and won and stuff. Well, now there's these things called Gabbits, and that's what Munch is. He's like the equivalent of a dolphin, but really freaking ugly. When he's on land, you can put him in a wheelchair like an invalid, and it's really hilarious....hearing the squeaka squeaka of the poor thing's wheelchair, while everyone else is just running around. Consequently, he often gets left behind, but hey, that's the way it goes. Anyways, he's the last Gabbit alive, and he needs to rescue Gabbit eggs to get the species back on it's feet. I know my description is really lame. So just go and rent or buy the game, 'cause it's a hella lot of fun. |

"Trouble" by Coldplay: I usually don't care for British bands, and to tell you the truth, I don't care much for Coldplay. But I heard this song earlier this month, and I fell in love with it. It's totally random and doesn't sound like anything else I listen to, but it makes me feel all melancholy in a good way. Like smiling through tears. Anyways, you should download it. Why? 'Cause I said so, that's why.

School Supplies: Mmmm...it's back to school shopping time. I love school supplies. Let's just take a moment and appreciate school supplies. There's nothing more inspiring than clipping open a new three-ring binder, and snapping in a fresh college-ruled notebook. Brand new sharpened pencils and all those fancy-lookin' pens, (that you insisted on buying because they looked so cool, but you'll end up losing within the first three weeks of school), and bright hi-liters. Writing your name in your brand new planner, and planning out your schedule in the handy little inserts. Sigh. I love you school supplies. I love you.
