The distortions on these pictures were made using filture technique tip. The picture on the left is made with the distortion used one time at a high setting and the picture on the right was with a lower distortion but applied several times. The picture on the right has a much smoother transition.
Using a picture that is 16 million colors, a blur filter filter was used to enhance this flower.
