Unfinished Body
First Added White Stain
Then added masking tape in a criss-cross manner, and trimmed every overlapping square. A MAJOR PAIN!
After spraying the blue enamel, I proceed to peel off all masking squares.
Here's the back of the guitar after all the tape is removed and slight touch-ups were made. Now ready for many coats of laquer as I await my other parts to arrive.

Finished Body - 3 cans of lacquer then rubbed down with carnuba wax. Awaiting neck, tremolo, pickgaurd, pickups and electronics.
5/3/04 - Received the white pickgaurd and the tremolo assembly today. I just placed the pickgaurd on to see what it will look like - I still need to cennect the pick-ups & knobs to the pickgaurd before mounting it.
Assembled the Tremolo with springs onto the guitar body - will have to adjust the springs and height just right once strings are on.
...and the back. Showing the tremolo cavity springs and mounting. A white plate will cover this when it arrives..

Some parts came in from Warmoth today - the blue knobs, pickup covers, and straplocks, I cant put the cover and knobs on until the actual electronics come, but......
......I can put the knob where they will go to get a look for the finished body. I couldn't find a light blue humbucker pickup, so I order a dark blue one - it should still fit in with the blues.
The electronics (pick-ups, potentiometers, switches, and input jack) came in, so I'm wiring them to the back of the pickgaurd. I still need my blue Humbucker to replace the white double coil. But left it on as shown next.
Well, here's an almost finished product. I put the neck on, which came yesterday, and pickgaurd as wired above. I can not put strings on until I get the tuner. and get the new ble humbucker pickup. The final two pieces needed.

But this picture gives an excellent view of what the finished product will look like.
