ORIGIN:  Does not know how his powers came about or how long he has had them, as it took a while to even realize that they existed.  Teamed with another hero called The Dweeb, who had powers similar the Charma (except that they affected both males and females, and it caused them to become smug and feel contempt, and compel them to perform malicious, yet harmless, practical jokes, or just stand there and hurl insults at him).  Ding took advantage of this to either tie them up or call someone that could control them.  They tried to join the LMBP as a team, but the Dweeb's power even affected the usually friendly Lash Lad, who dismissed him out of hand.  Ding and the Dweeb continue to be friends, although the Dweeb has since retired.

POWERS: Whenever anyone tries to cause him physical harm, unexplained dents and scratches occur to their favorite mode of transport, and their insurance company automatically knows about it.  Ding Boy has no control over the power and has no idea how it works.
