Nope tis i back on for a few minutes tonight.
I still have'nt seen Shrek yet, must try to get to see it soon.
Took my son to see the mummy returns a couple of days ago and really enjoyed it. A good old fashioned adventure that had thrills spills and a few laughs without any overt sex. Just like an LMB tag team story. Well, OK then, maybe the LMB has some sex, and not a lot of thrills, and the only spills occur at the end of the night when Beagle drops his beer. But I do get a lot of laughs from you guys

Just wasting some time at work. Went out at lunch to meet a girl friend. The weather was nice, and then it pissed down, torrentially. I was only weraing a flimsy shirt, no coat.
I look like a drowned rat right now.
Maybe Seahorse, if he's had enough of stories about sex, drugs, and violence (to be honest that really does sound like just another night in Club Revenge).

Today was murder! Actually it was a murder trial, but it's now being delayed for a week so I'll be back to more mundane things tomorrow. I know just how you feel Terence - I came through the door like something drowned that had been dredged up and reanimated. Warmth, food and brandy helped make me feel alive again.
How's the jury service going Stu?

Umm... don't look at me -- I have no idea how this started! 
"Ratmuffin"... I don't know whether to be flattered, or a bit disquieted (I keep thinking of a muffin with little whiskers and a tail sticking out of it)!
I'm gonna guess that Terence will peek in here early in the morning!
P.S. My jury duty is fine, so far. Here in San Francisco, you have to call in each day for a week to see whether the group to which you've been assigned is obligated to show up at the courthouse, and possibly get placed on a jury panel to hear an actual case. So far, I've dodged the bullet this week, although everyone I know tells me that I'll probably get called in on Thursday or Friday... I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

Nope, just me. And I had a talk with my sister, as well. Since Loser left, she's been feeling very lonely, and just a touch bitchy. She has promised to try to control her temper.
And so far so good here on the new board, but always keep in mind that I don't know if the owners of this board ever monitor us. There is always the possibility that the same thing can happen here.
And I too saved the TartQuest thread, and will try to get that moved over here tonight. And you know, I really wouldn't recommend starting any more story threads on the DC Boards. We have been told that they are not allowed, and to continue posting them will only worsen our chances of saving the Legionnaires board. Just a thought.

I think you are correct!
I just finished doing my tour of jury duty -- won't have to be called back for at least one year. There are apparently two courthouses in town; one in a convenient location in the Civic Center area, and the other one... was the one I had to go to. Way out of the way, under the freeway, had to walk through some mighty unsavory areas to get there. Waited around in a stuffy, ugly room with dozens of other hapless folks, and then was told around noontime that the parties to the trial were trying to settle it, and that we could be dismissed early!
HURRAH!
But now I'm back at work, and have got a LOT to get done before tomorrow...
BOO!
I probably won't be back until late tonight, if even then, but for now I will guess that Seahorse will float on over for a looky before heading to bed...

(By the way, I read yesterday that the life story of John Major is being made into a musical to debut in London next year. What will they think of next! And it was interesting to read about Lord Archer being convicted of "perverting justice"...)

I'm going to get out in the garden (English weather permitting) and do some gardening.

Don't know, but I am -- on yet another foggy, ugly day in San Francisco. (Interesting fact: I checked Yahoo weather, and it has been almost exactly the same temperature in London as it has been in San Francisco the last couple of days -- although it hasn't been raining here.)

I saw Planet of the Apes last night and will probably meet an old friend (one I haven't seen in 9 years) for dinner tonight. But -- I'm about to head off to work, as I'll be working all day today AND tomorrow, and then LONG hours all next week. I hope I won't have to work next weekend, but even if I don't, that will mean I'll have worked 19 days straight...

Nope, it's not LTKL, but instead (and I hope you don't all run cursing from me) the considerably (over last time) more rhetorically sober and more pleasant (I also hope) Pompous Ass of the LMBP himself.
It's ZERO HOUR this weekend on the DCMB, wiping out where it all began for the LMBP, and I had to have someplace to go ...

Just me, getting up late once again (for the fifth time this week). Actually went out drinking last night. Considering how much I drank, lucky I'm not hungover today. But -- I am a pretty big guy...
May I also second the suggestion to start Part Two of this thread? My modem's sloooooooooooooooow, and it takes up to half a minute to load the whole thing. (Besides, it looks like the counter stopped at 255, so how can we tell what milestones are coming up on this thread?)
I conjecture... that Princess Crujectra... will post here next!
