"King, thank God your awake."

"Anthony?"

"Yes, it me Arthur. Candy, little Arthur, Mike, Des, and Brian are here also."

Arthur looks around the room and sees the smiling faces of the knights he first recruited to help him make his kingdom peaceful and safe.

"Where's Merlin Joe?" asked the King.

"He should be here soon, he took Loser, Therod, Dev, Far, Sketch, Jo, and Ded and they went Whoredru and his minnions. We received word that they had captured them and were on the way back, we stayed becuse he wanted us to gaurd you."

The king grabs ahold of the hand that has been holding his, lifts it towards his moth and kisses it.

"Candy," he says as a tears run downs her cheek, "I love you my darling and thank you for the love you have given me over the years and the comfort you give me now."

"Don't talk my dear, you need to conserve your strength," says Candy.

"No my dear, I love you guys and I thank you and ask that you continue doing what we have been doing. Under Shady, you guys will do even better, now that my time has come." He looks up as his friends and sees that several are crying and other are fighting the tears.

He coughs, Shady hold his hand tighter and Mike grabs hold of Arthurs other hand.

"It's okay my freinds, we knew this was coming. Let me tell you, that while I slept, I dreamt of when Joe first brought you to me, you all were so young and eager to be knights and you guys quickly showed me that you desereved it."

"Arthur allow me to introduce to you the first member of the Knights of the Message Boards."

"But Merlin, they are but kids."

"No sir," said the portly one as he stepped up, "We are more than kids, we are super powered kids, allow me to demonstrate my power," and with that he ported leaving two of the others smoother in grease and he appeared between Merlin and Arthur also smoothering them in grease.

"Sorry about that, its part of the lardforce, which gives me my powers."

"That's Tony," says Joe as he wipes lard of himself.

"It's okay Tony," says the king, "But promise me you will work to control this lardforce."

"Yes your majesty."

He looks at the kids wiping lard of themselves and says "Who are you and what powers do you have."

"I'm Micheal and this is my power," he extands his hand and whips come out of his finger tips. He waves his hand and one of the whips hits Tony on his behind.

"OWWW," yells Tony, "you did that one purpose."

"Yes, and thats for smothering me in this goop."

"I'm Des, I have the ability to contro magnetism." He looks towards Tony, points a finger at him and the armour Tony had been wearing falls to the ground."

"Hey, I said I was sorry," says Tony as he quickly covers himself as the others laugh.

"I'm Brian and I'm Brian and I'm Brian," says the future knight as he shows the King his triplicating power."

"Just make sure you don't go around playing tricks on me young men."

When he walks up to the next one he notices the mask and says, "Why do you wear a mask."

"Because," says a raspy voice.

"Remove it please," says the king.

"Go ahead Candy, I told you it wouldn't work," says Merlin Joe.

"Candy?" questions the king.

"Yes," answers the young lady as she removes the mask, "I'm a girl, but I can take on any of this guys."

"I'm sure you could, but the battle field is no place for a girl."

"I'm sorry your majesty," says Micheal stepping up, "but she would make a great knight."

"Yes, she would agree," the others.

"Really, so what are your power?" he asks.

"She's been using them since they got here. Who do you think kept this guys from figthing," says Merlin.

"I can control some emotions," she answers, but I would only us them when needed. I used them know becuse I didn't want the guys to fight."

"Okay, you've convinced me, she can stay."

"Alright," is the yell that comes from the others.

"Settle down now, your training will begin soon, so get some rest," says the king as he starts to walk away.

As the kids begin to congratulate each other the king stops and turns to them and says "Welcome, my knights."

All of the knight present all have smiles with tears on there faces as they remember that day.

"I just want you to know that I love all of you and that you guys were great freinds."

Just then, the door opens and in walks Merlin Joe followed by Greybird whom had been standing gaurd outside.

The other turn and look at Joe as he walks straight to Arthur.

"I was afraid I would be to late my dearsest friend, but we could not let Whoredru get away."

Arthur looks at him and smiles.

"Are you ready Arthur," asks Joe.

"Hold on," answers the king, he kisses little Arthur on the forehead and then he gives his wife a kiss and looks at Joe and says, "I'm ready."

And with that Joe removes the incantation that had barely been keeping the king alive and the great King Arthur passes away surrounded by his family.

Grey walks out of the room and informs all the other knights, whom had been waiting, of the passing of the king.

Word quickly spreads throughout the kingdom of the passing of their king, but also that the Legion of Message Board Knight is still alive and that they will carry the sword of the great King Arthur.
