Our love for the legion brought us together.
Our love for each other keeps us together

Though we are phantoms on the Internet and will, in all likelihood, never meet in the flesh. Although to others we are naught but a collection of electrons in the ether, our bond is as real as steel.

Thank to the Internet our friendships transcend national boundaries, race, colour and creed. Although we have different life experiences, are of different ages, different cultures and in some cases speak a different language, we are united in one family by a slightly bizarre love for an imaginary group of individuals who exist only in the pages of a comic book and our own imaginations.

The true origin of the LMBP lies in the people who make up our little group. Without us sharing our hopes and desires, our highs and lows, and, to be honest, messing around and taking the mickey out of each other, this would be nothing more than a debating society bickering about which version of the Legion is the best.

It is time to celebrate out first anniversary. I was not a founding member nor did I join until quite recently. Yet this is my club, filled with people I hope will allow me to call them �friend�

what more can I say.

OK. Speechifying�s over. I�ve put a few barrels of Silverale and Klordny in the rec room. Beagle has put on a massive spread (with a separate one for Lardlad so the other members get something to eat this time! Remember last party when he arrived early?) so eat, drink and be merry.
