| In 2001, we moved out of Toronto, to the Lake Simcoe area. It's the best of both worlds, quiet 'country' evenings and weekends, with the city conveniently close. Renovating is always an adventure-you always find more to fix than you initially anticipated. Below are a few before and after pictures highlighting some of the fun we've had in '01-'04. I'm too busy to load 'before' photos-just trust me, it was bad. |
| The pond was barely a hole in the ground with a liner thrown down. |
| Nothing a couple of day's re-construction and planting couldn't fix (Spring '03). A dilapidated garage teardown and installation of 2 sheds at either corner of the yard were projects for '04 and '05. |
| The kichen was old pine cupboards, few in number, so I traded an irrigation installation for a new kitchen. |
