Hello, Welcome to the parent information center on Teen P.I.P.S. We understand your concern on your teenager becoming interested in the paranormal world, it can be a scary thing when you dont know what its about. My sister in law Lisa and myself founded the Paranormal Investigative Pursuit Society not to long ago. First off please let me assure you we are not in any shape or form an occult of any kind. We are just two Christians that are interested in what happens to those who die and do not take the light, as the Christian faith tells us that is what happens when you pass on. Our souls are made up of energy, therefore when our outer earthly shell dies, the energy that makes us, still remains and lives. Albert Einstein Proved this theory, that energy cannot be destroyed without breaking the laws of science, it can only transmute into other forms. So what we are researching is if one does not choose to take the light, then it must remain here on the earths sphere in one form or another.
Teen PIPS is a ghost hunting group much like ourselves made for the under age younger crowd. Usually teens under 18 are not allowed on ghost hunts because of mischief and immaturity to the situation, which can result to injury brought on by themselves not a ghost. But this group is made for teen 13-17 yrs of age to go on ghost hunting expeditions with at least one adult present at all times. To ensure the safety of the younger crowd. Teen PIPS will be day trips.
We have meters that read electromagnetic fields, and gauges that will take the temperature so that we can see if there is any significant drop in one certain area. The teens will be taught how to use these and will take pictures within the cemetery, or supposed haunted areas that we visit. We are not just out for the thrill of catching a ghost, it also will involve research on your teens part. We will ask the teen to pick a name off of a stone in the cemetery, any one that grabs at them, pardon the pun, and do some research on that name during the time of their life on this earth 1600s, 1700s, just to see what they can come up with. Now a lot of times they may come up with nothing more than what the head stone told them, but sometimes you will come up with very interesting information as to who this person was and what kind of mark they left in the world. They will be taught how to safely enter a cemetery and how to safely exit one. They will also be taught to respect the property that they are investigating. If in fact there are spirits or ghosts within the cemetery, we have to remember that this is their home, and not to deface it or disrespect it in anyway, just as we would expect visitors to treat our home when they enter it. If one teen or even the adults that is in the group, has a bad vibe, or is scared and feels it is time to leave, regardless on how the others feel, we will pack up and go. |
