In order to create a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere the rules are as follows, no flooding, no port scanning, no harassing users or hosts, no offensive nicks, no auto greets/spamming. no cybersex in the channel, no racial/religious/country insults.
Publishing addresses or similar information in the open channel is dangerous and should be avoided to prevent spamming and the transfer of mal files such as trojans or viruses.
We also ask that you observe the ICQ rules concerning, NO asking for sex/cyber in open channels, NO sex/cyber popups, NO sex/cyber nicks and NO sex/cyber spam.
Although icq rooms are usually talked about as "public", they are not.  The servers and the bandwidth they use are paid for by ICQ, Inc and therefore everything on them is privately owned,  So there are no "rights" here per se.  There are, instead, rules and regulations as set down at www.icq.com\legal\ircqnet.html
If you use Mirc you can connect to IrCQNet.  Server is irc.icq.com Ports: 6665,6666,6664
