Pictured here is George Julian masking off his 1956 Plymouth Plaza with tape in preparation for painting. George had gotten his Plymouth put back together and running by the fall of 1997. After a few months of driving he spun a rod bearing and had to have his engine rebuilt. The front clip was removed from the old Plymouth to further detail the frame and components. George has a little more painting work to do to the firewall before the freshly rebuilt engine is installed. George says since he joined the club he has learned about a lot of little mistakes he made when, he restored his car the first time, such as painting the six cylinder flathead engine red. We hope to see your cruiser on the road this summer George!
