This is a view of Rock Creek from Purdom's deck.  What you see is the backbone and the pontoon anchored at the point.  Shangri Lloyd's 17 acres starts on the backbone and continues 1400 feet to the north.
This is a view of Owl Creek off the deck by the pig pit.
The chalet was new in 2005 and is where Steele resides.  It contains Steele's bedroom plus two guest bedrooms.
The living area of the lodge has slept many couch dwellers and can even pull out into a full bed.  Lots of floor space is used during pig roast weekend.
This is where Steele resides, the web site is worked on and bills are paid.  Don't expect to throw your sleeping bag in here.
Karen says this is her room.  Karen Brown was the general contractor for the chalet and this is one of the guest beedrooms she designed.
The kitchen in the chalet.  Still don't have the right counter top but things are pretty functional.
The front of the lodge with a pig roast crew attending.  There is deck all around with a second story deck in front of the main bedroom.  We will have 30 people stay in the lodge during the pig roast.  It is a dorm style with 4 main divisions and 1 private bedroom.
Looking into the main bedroom of the lodge where there is a king size tube water bed, a pull out couch, a day bed, and floor space.
The kitchen in the lodge is shared by residents of the lodge.  There is a large outdoor barbecue, electric grills, and usually enough refrigerator space for everyone.
Recreation facilities includes a full basketball court but doesn't include the officials.
Scott Wiley ties a rope to a high up limb to be used as a swing off the platform for the zip line.  Shangri Lloyd's is definitely not responsible for accidents.
Cardinals, indigo buntings, crows, titmouses, turkey buzzards, blue jays, blue birds, American gold finches, nut hatches, and doves can all be observed on a regular basis.  Many other species migrate through and can sometimes be seen.
Boating, skiing, tubing, swimming, cliff jumping, and just cruising are all water sports available on Table Rock Lake.
A cage and pitching machine are available.
Have a wedding and you can get some improvements.  Notice the logs on the front of the lodge.
