POETRY CORNER:
Read at your own risk!!
Promises are lies in disguise.
I told you everything you ever wanted to know.
You told me everything I wanted to hear.
Sweet omissions with hard intentions.

Love is a lie we sell ourselves.
I believed in you; you believed in you too.
They say love is blind.
I say love is blinding.

Trust is a gift that keeps on taking.
You creep inside me, whispering
Trust, trust, and trust

Hate my love, love my hate.
Id say our love is like two sides of the same coin,
But it leaves me empty.
I have no coins, no dollars, no sense.
The Seduction of Cinderella

Boreas' tempestuous caress envelops her in bitter arms. Eclipsing crimson rips open with screaming seams of light, masking her soft sighs at the dying sun. Although enthralled and enraptured by the pure flame, of its pleasures she does not partake. In its stead, nights and barbarians dance in phantom fields, frolicking with destiny and salvation. Cries of exaltation and victory, mellifluous strains, enclose her in the incubus. She unconsciously undulates to their beat, "tangled in amorous nets." Even now, the sun succumbs to the raven, night enchantment reigns supreme. Complete is the seduction, this day her prince has come.
Puddle Play

Held in the palm of pavement,
Gathered in gravel and grit,
Spills from the sky softly still on the surface, Prism's children;
Red Rhapsody, Green Grandeur, and Indigo Indulgence dance.
Touch, swirl, smooth--then away.
They play for few favored eyes.
Hidden close; away, beneath the dignity of passersby.
Too Long

I left the water running too long,
Knowing full well it was going to cause trouble,
Knowing you wanted me to turn it off
But I liked the sound of the water adding to the mud.

I know I let it run on too long.

So now theres this puddle, full of muck.
Im surrounded--sludge in my hair, in my eyes, up my nose
Blinding me
Suffocating me
Killing me

And you dance on by
You wont pull me out of the mud
You wont wash it out of my eyes
Youll not even watch me die.

Down and drowned; I sink
With my eyes full of mud and lies.

I definitely left it running too long.
