LANCASTER LUNE AND WYRE MOTORCYCLE CLUB
Lancaster Lune & Wyre Motorcycle Club is an informal group of like minded motorcyclists who meet once a month to chat, ride and otherwise socialise on the subject of motorcycling. Often called the 'old Farts' club, whilst there are younger attendees at many of the runs, the average age of the membership tends towards the over 35's rather than the under 35's, but don't let that put you off.
There is no formal 'membership', but for the princely sum of £6.00 per annum, a brief newsletter is dispatched by post to members who would like to be reminded of the meetings, runs etc.
The membership have a variety of bikes, which range from pre-war British iron right through the range to rootin - tootin modern Oriental thrill bikes. Again the emphasis has been on the older or 'classic' type of machinery but many members have more than one steed.
