The ground is the foundation of a new beginning
friendship being the seed planted
the beauty already about to occur
with great care and love it will grow

The rain to nourish this natural process
ever drop so important for what's to become
without the rainy days
there will be not such success

The sun sharing it's rays to help in the process
feeling the warmth and comfort
absorbing all of it's moment
taking one day at a time

The roots of utmost importance as so the friendship
so delicate from one to another
yet strengthening as it grows
the uniqueness in each one

The branches growing with great strength
allowing room for more to join
time not being an essence
as one is ready to sprout shall join the others

The colors change from season to season
standing tall as time passes
not a moment of doubt nor stand alone
the roots of our friendship shall remain alive
