We go back many years
shared laughs and many tears
a shoulder was needed you were there
just you listening, showed you cared
we also watched our children grow
teaching them what they need to know
you have tought me my dear freind
true friendship really does not end
I took for granted you never leaving
now I sit in a state of greiving
