I am thinking of creating a notebook of tan co lyrics.
To do that I need to know what are some of the all-time favorite
tan co songs that ppls would like to have lyrics for.
I want YOUR opinion on what do you think of this project
and what are some of YOUR favorite tan co songs.

Tai Linh is considered 2 be 1 of the most popular after-'75 cailuong actress.
I like to think of her as the modern day "Le Thuy."
I once heard someone told us she's married 2 to the comedian actor Bao Chung.
Wonder if this rumor has any valididity.
It will be cool if it is! He is a talented actor w/ a wonderful sense of humor!!!

I got the chance to see her in person on stage on my trip back to Viet Nam last summer.
It was around Vu Lan time so she shared w/ the audiences some of her thoughts on Vietnamese mothers
&
she sang for us the tan co giao duyen "Long me." It was quite touching!
Sitting in the audience,
I was able to witness her remarkable popularity when
several of the fans ran up to the stage during
her performance & hugged her like crazy!
Unfortunately 4 me, that day that I forgot to bring my glasses.
I could hear Ngoc Huyen's voice & make out the general shape of her but
everything was rather fuzzy. Talking about luck! =(
Knowing my deep interest 4 cailuong actors/actresses,
my lovely cousin Quyen, being an amazing person that she is,
ran behind the stage to get Ngoc Huyen's signature & info 4 me
since I was too chicken 2 do it myself!!!
Unfortunately, Ngoc Huyen had other shows that night so
after leaving the stage, she was being escorted by her bodyguard
straight into her car so my cousin didn't get to talk to her.
However, her manager was nice enough to give us a studio pix of Ngoc Huyen w/ her signature.
****An irrelevant side note****
Some practical things I learned that night:
1) It really is stink when you have to rely on glasses.
2) It helps to be bold (a bit) in life.
3) Vietnamese guys smoke like crazy!!!
We were stuck sitting between these several fanatic smokers.
It wasn't a pleasant experience.
