The Desk was at Old Dover Days last month and took some pictures with the intent of writing up another story on it.

It was there because the USS RAVEN (IFT) was there.

And the Desk got tired of sitting around the booth meeting the people so it went to see a couple of the other exhibits. One of which included armored knights demonstrating violence and mayhem of the medieval variety.
First they had a speech about safety. Then the fun began.

Across the way the Desk saw a young lady it was acquainted with. So it went over to say 'hi' and since she was in costume, take a picture.

It snapped a picture before it said hello to the attractive young lady in period dress. Then we chatted for a minute about the festival and the local group's, the Shire of Caer Adamant, role in it, and the Desk mentioned that there might be a short human interest write up in it. Then the Desk asked her to smile for the camera.
And you can see the result here.

So. The Desk's reputation as a photographer remains intact.
        It'll stick to writing.
