Scam's Delta Force 2 Maps

<*BCE*----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------*BCE*>

Welcome to my Delta Force 2 Map page. All maps here are made using the Delta Force 2 Map Editor, and are here for anyone to download and have a look - feel free to host them for me!
This is just a quick site that I put up so that everyone that I've been bragging to can see my maps for themselves - so excuse the mess.

Instructions for using map files from this page:

1-Download the .zip file that takes your fancy. Then unzip it.

2-Save the unzipped files into your Delta Force 2 folder (in C:). Do not save it in the cache part!

3(a)-Open up Delta Force 2. If the file you downloaded was a multiplayer map, then you will have to pretend to host it to see it. As long as you are not connected to the internet - no-one else can join.
(b)-If the file you downloaded was a single player mission, then you can access it through Quick Missions, or host it as a cooperative. Enjoy!

< ------------Urban Execution (TDM/DM)----------------------------------------------------------------------------->
This was my first map. It is a great DM/TDM map complete with apartment blocks - with grenade launchers on roof(!), close combat arena, those great hills with crevices on (ideal for sniping!), ruins, airport area, machine-gunned bunkers, prison area and of course armories. There is also the odd open area for the odd idiot. (SCREENS)

<-------------Deserted City (TDM/DM)---------------------------------------------------------------------------------> This was a quick map I knocked up - inspired by, well my first map! It is a simple deserted city scene, with assorted cars, buildings, a prison, and 2 armories. It is an island and although I haven't investigated, snipers could probably leave the island for some good spots on the hills. (SCREENS)

<-------------The Facility (TKOTH)-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->
This is a fast and furious TKOTH arena. Each team spawns outside of the arena walls and has to climb over to get in. Then you face the challenge of staying alive in the close-combat area complete with assorted cover and buildings, sandbags, prison, and armories at each end. There is also an odd tower and the odd trailer here and there. (SCREENS)

<-------------Mein Camp (1pl/Co-op)-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------> In case you didn't get the play on words, 'Mein Kampf' was the title of Hitler's book in which he stated what he planned to do when he came to power. I can see you're rolling about on the floor. This is not supposed to be the most realistic D-day map ever, it's just a fun level to play basically! You start off on the beach (surprise, surprise!) and once you've made your way up it, your mission then is to destroy all communications equipment in the base at the top. Be warned, as this is a 1 player there is a lot more happening in this level. Oh, and by the way.....there is about 70 guys stumbling up the beach with you, and about another 70 shooting the hell out of you! Great fun....................NOTE: This map uses a custom terrain (big OI! to Uncle Ahl for that), so once you have saved ALL the files into your DF2 folder - Open up your DF2 folder in Windows Explorer, find the file called 'cfsdd.bat' and double click this to run it. Do this before you play or it probably won't work. If you get a height map error when you try and play the mission - repeat this procedure. (SCREENS)

<-----------The Alamo (TKOTH)------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------> This is a desert-orientated TKOTH, based along a film I saw - called (you guessed it) "The Alamo". It is basically a fort in the desert, which each team will try to control (duh!). It includes armories, big desert buildings, great defending spots - which are mainly along the wall I created with the buildings. Each building along the wall has a tower and all of these roofs along in a line creates a wall (like an olden style fort) to defend from. For the snipers out there - there are some hills around for your silent needs. (SCREENS)

<-----------Alcove Attack (A+D)------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------> I'm sure you've all seen this type of A/D map before. This is my first  effort at a proper A/D map, so I have decided to keep it simple and most importantly - playable. I have designed this map to be a great challenge for both the attacking and defending teams. For the defenders, there are multiple grenade and machine gun turrets, all in optimum positions. Some are down nearly right down on the cliff - if you dare to get that close! There is a simple base to defend, including a comms centre, bunkers and more...(the usual!). For the attacking team the first struggle is to get up the beach, then you have to make your way up the cliff on which the base rests. Once at the top it is an all-out battle to fight your way into the base and destroy it. If you fancy chickening out - there are plenty of sniping spots in the hills! (SCREENS)

<-----------Surrounded (TKOTH/KOTH/TDM/DM---------------------------------------------------------------> For this map I decided to make it smaller than originally planned. I'm hoping this will make the level a lot less laggy and a lot more playable. The KOTH area is a 4 story apartment block in the centre of the map, this has turrrets on the top to aid defenders and to aid snipers. This whole area is surrounded by 4 air traffic control towers, all linked at the roofs by bridges. This level includes two armories, hills all around, black fog (just thin enough for sniping), and the towers and apartment block as mentioned above. To get a feel of the map you should really check out the (SCREENS).

<-----------Sniper On The Hill (S+D/TDM/DM-----------------------------------------------------------------------> I know, I know....my maps are too big! Well this one certainly is spread out. A kind of Vietnam themed map (although I don't know too much about that - so don't hold me on it!), it is a jungle-style sniper map. There are two bases - each similar with huts, towers and armories each. The whole terrain is full of hills, buildings, grass and vehicles for a variety of cover and sniping spots. The whole terrain is very spread-out...with buildings scattered about the place, so there will be a lot of sneaking around, searching for other players whilst trying to stay alive. (SCREENS)
