Front porch decking by porch swing |

The front porch roof, made of true 2x4 inch heart pine boards, took a weather beating. The light wood is new (sawmill cut to size), other is all original. |

Paper going down over the plank roof - roofer gives a better idea of the scale of the house. |

Roof going on- shingles, with porch roof in tin. Hurricane Ivan took out half the 9-foot center window, no other damage. |

The house is very SOLID. Had to re-roof, rewire, replumb and fix damage to front & back porch roofs/decking, and refloor the pantry. Rest of the house was in very nice condition needing some light cosmetics (but all original trim, mantles, baseboards undisturbed.) |

Was original down to the cloth wiring, which we replaced without trying out. |
