VACANCIES
In
response to the acute shortage of trained health personnel in general and Nurse-Midwives
in particular, the Catholic University of Malawi is setting up a Bachelor of
Science in Nursing-Midwifery programme. The programme is designed to train high-level Nurse-Midwives who,
upon graduation and registration with the nurses and Midwives Council of Malawi,
can:

Provide
nursing and midwifery services to standards set by the Nurses and Midwives Council
of Malawi
·
Apply
a systematic, evidence based approach to responding creatively and sensitively to
the needs of those put under their care and their families.
·
Be
competent, caring, research-minded, analytical and reflective Nurse-Midwives.
·
Pursue
a postgraduate degree in Nursing-Midwifery.
