Dorian succeeded in becoming Victor�s physician�and wife!

After losing her position at Llanview Hospital, Dorian was forced to temporarily work as a sales clerk at Logan�s Department Store. Humiliated, she decided that while she may have been down, she certainly wasn�t out. Upon conspiring with Dr. Matt McAllister, a former colleague at the hospital, Dorian was able to become private physician to an ailing Victor Lord, who had suffered a heart attack after having recently returned from on an exhaustive journey to locate his long lost son. Due to Victor�s having been out of the country for most of the previous year, he had no idea about Dorian�s questionable reputation and allowed himself to be completely taken by her.

Viki resented Dorian�s presence in her father�s life, but the best was yet to come�as Victor shocked everyone by announcing that he had also made Dorian his wife! As the new Mrs. Victor Lord, Dorian immediately moved into Llanfair with her new husband and delighted in the wealth, the elitist status, and the other fruits that came with being a socialite.

While laying low in South America, Mark discovered information about Victor�s missing son and attempted to blackmail the greedy Dorian, who did not want Victor�s heir to muck up her plans to inherit the Lord estate. Dorian swayed Mark to change his plans by getting him to, instead, blackmail Viki about the secret regarding Joe�s having passed down his genetic heart defect to baby Megan. Before Viki could pay off Mark, nurse Susan Barry shot him dead in a case of mistaken identity and Viki�s secret remained intact.

A mysterious man named Tony Harris showed up in Llanview, conspicuously bearing photos of the Lord family. Although it wasn�t revealed at first, the handsome young man was Victor�s long-lost son! Tony and Victor eventually shared an emotional reunion, which only made Dorian resentful. Worried that Tony could posed a threat to her staked claim of the Victor�s fortune, Dorian effectively schemed to turn father and son into bitter enemies. Thanks to her evil machinations, Victor and Tony were at each other�s throats!
