From the civil rights movement�to the Vietnam war�to Buzz Aldrin with Neil Armstrong making history by being the first men to walk on the moon�flower children and hippies basking in sex, drugs & rock-and-roll�and two Darrin�s on Bewitched. Unlike any before, or sense, this historically iconic decade forever changed the landscape of the American psyche from every angle and faction.

In Llanview, a young and reserved Victoria Lord fought with both her domineering father Victor Lord and her flashy alter ego Niki Smith, in order to be with the gruff and incandescent reporter Joe Riley. Meredith Lord also faced an uphill battle to pursue a relationship with the very un-upper class Llanview Hospital intern Larry Wolek, while at the same time having to cope with an uncertain health prognosis. The beautiful�yet mysterious�Carla Benari turned out to someone (and something) drastically different from what she initially presented herself as. Lonely widower Jim Craig found love again with Anna Wolek�while his troubled teenage daughter, Cathy, found drugs and became a full blown junkie.
