The First Baptist Church in Llano, TX is very proud to have put together the 5K Run/Walk for School Supplies once again. This fun run/walk is to raise money for students of Llano ISD who are in need of school supplies, and other various classroom supplies. This event is now dedicated to the memory of Shannon Kaspar. Llano Elementary was blessed to have had Shannon as a dedicated and caring teacher for many years. One of Shannon's passions was running and participating in 5K races. We feel this event will be a fitting tribute to one of Llano's beloved teachers and a way to help children in our community.
Location: First Baptist Church Activity Center on Berry St. at 8:00 a.m.
Timing: Card Finish
Registration is at 7:30 a.m. Early registration before September 25th is required to receive a T-Shirt.
We will travel down Wright, Landon/Granite, Oatman, College, Chestnut, & Sandstone. There will be rest stops with water approximately every mile, and awards for the top male and female finishers and top three in each age group.
Age Groups:14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+
There will be plenty of refreshments for everyone, and indoor restrooms!
Each person who registers before September 25th will receive a T-Shirt. Late registration including race day registration is $25, and you aren't guaranteed a T-Shirt, so get those registrations in early!
