Exciting news from Victoria today in that
AUSTRALIAN GRAND CHAMPION LLANCARFAN POLAR IMPACT
passed the third leg to qualify for his CCD
(Canine Companion Dog) Obedience Title.
Well done Janelle on training Ikon ....
he is not just a beautiful German Spitz,
but is very clever as well

Gemma Folli
travelled over from Adelaide for
the Show, with her Llancarfan
Milo who was awarded Challenge
dog and BEST OF BREED by Mrs. L. De
Ridder-Onghena of Belgium. The
judge said whilst going over Milo
on the table what a wonderful
specimen he was. Milo was
eliminated from further
exhibition by the State bred
French Bulldog who was R/up
B.I.G.
The judge did approach to speak
to Gemma after the judging and
told her what a wonderful German
spitz she had, and that Milo
should have a brilliant future. A
fantastic comment for a dog that
is barely 13 months old. Mrs. L.
De Ridder-Onghena was very
impressed with Llancarfan Milo
and was even more thrilled to
learn that she was the judge who
awarded Milo his final points for
his Australian
Championship.
Reserve
Challenge dog was Ch.
Llancarfan Arctik Gold who
was awarded R/Up Best of Breed.
Ch.
Llancarfan Before Dawn was
the winner of the bitch
challenge.

"Ikon" Llancarfan
Polar Impact has been exhibited by Janelle Sleebs
in Victoria since October 2005.
He gained the final points for his Australian
Championship on 8th January 2006. Ikon turned 12
months old on 20th December 2005 and has achieved
his final 25 points (the rule about 25 points
after 12 months) in these last two weekends.
Ikon went to Melbourne to Janelle in early
October and although he had been shown here in
WA, and had many Class in Group awards, and Res
Challenges he didn't actually get his first
Challenge and more in Group Awards until he hit
Melbourne.
I am so proud of Janelle for showing this dog
(and now owning him) and also of Ikon who is a
wonderful ambassador for the breed.
Exceptionally well done Ikon and
Janelle.....Thank you both!

Ch Llancarfan New Year Revel (Owners
G & R King) has made it to the finals of the
Geoff Wightman awards for the Top Open Show Dog
of the Year South Australia. It is really
terrific for Reevy to make it to the final as she
could not start qualifying until June 2004 when
she turned 6 months old. The Finals will be held
in South Australia on 20th February.
