pay attention to such a great salvation [as is now offered us, letting it drift
past us forever]? For it was declared at first by the Lord [Himself], and it
was confirmed to us and proved to be real and genuine by those who
personally heard [Him speak]. [Besides this evidence] it was also established
and plainly endorsed by God, Who showed His approval of it by signs and
wonders and various miraculous manifestations o [His] power and by
imparting the gifts of the Holy Spirit [to the believers] according to His
own will."
Hebrews 2:3, 4 Amplified
God's gifts and call are irrevocable. He will never take back His invitation to embrace His salvation, or the gifts and graces of the Holy Spirit that he has freely given us. No man gives them to us, and no man can take them away. The only way to lose these things, is to rejest God, His call, His gifts, His grace, and His forgiveness. God's power is always manifested when His word is preached in purity and mixed with faith.
