| The Basics |
| My name is Amanda. I'm 24 and I live in Elk River. I graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College in 2006, and 4 months after graduation, I was married to my husband Ben. We rented a house for almost a year and a half, then bought our own house just over a year ago. I can't believe we've been married for two and a half years already! It's been wonderful! We're starting to do a few things to the house, like buy furniture, paint, etc. We have lots of plans for little projects to do soon. More painting, adding some steps to the desk and maybe a small patio below/next to it, and eventually finishing the basement. That'll be a couple years yet though. I work at Minnesota Gastroenterology, PA, in Plymouth. I am a Registrar there, which is basically a fancy word for Receptionist. Only we don't answer phones too often; our operators do that for us. Ben is a Web Developer for RCIS in Anoka. We just became partners (aka members) of a church in St. Michael called Westbridge Community Church. We've been going for about 6 months and decided it was definitely somewhere we felt we belonged. |
