| Symbol 6-18-02 I have this Hanson symbol necklace, used to hang by a silver chain. Now suspended by a thin black string many think this is quite insane. They say I'm too obsessed with that silly "Mmmbop" band. But to me it stands for something more than they could ever understand. To me Hanson is so much more than they could ever know. There's just something about them that can turn a high from a low. They can make me smile when I just want to frown. They can lift my spirits up when they fall to the ground. Hanson can take me to another place far, far away from here They can make me scream, make me laugh and once they even brought me to tears. Their music means so much more than many other things in life They stand for so many things that I sometimes forget over time. But eventually I will come back back to the land of these three boys I'll go to another concert and I'll scream and add to the noise. That doesn't make me a teeny though I just lose myself in the music I let myself just lose all sense and my childish side out for a bit I'll sing along with every lyric and wish I could do that too Then it'll be over with and I'll go back to living the truth The truth that I'm only a fan one of the many that loves them so But the title of "fan" Is one I proudly show. For Hanson is a band of brothers and their fans have total loyalty We stick beside them, through thick and thin anything but a Hanson fan, I never want to be. They've achieved so much in so little time Their "one hit wonder" has given them 5 years in the light And though many see this other ways it's true in a Fanson's eyes because through the music with Hanson we have so many ties They inspire us, teach us make us love ourselves more And touch our hearts with their voices on each and every tour I keep on practicing my music because Hanson's done it too They know what it's like to have this gift that's given to so few. I'm not saying I'm the best there is but Hanson gives me faith That I could be the best in time if I just never leave this music place So that's why I wear this necklace it stands for everything I love Some wear a cross instead But to me Hanson are His special angels, sent to us from above. And should the music ever end should this magic stop I'll always love this band that "Mmmbopped" to the top. |
| We Love You Tay 6-15-02 We've grown with you, changed with you and now you're fully grown. We've loved you past we love you still we just wish we could have known. We had to live from rumors we had to make things up until you finally gave us the truth. We've fought each other we've hugged each other no one ever had a clue. We aren't always like this we don't always feel this way but sometimes, that's all we can do. We weren't expecting this we never saw it coming no, never, not this soon. We've lost some childish dreams we really don't know what to think and we're still in shock from it all We just never thought we could never see that any of you in love would fall Yes there are some among us who are far to sad to go on they left the world of Hanson today But the rest of us, we'll stay here we'll stick by you 3 till the end when that end will be, only you can say. We know you have a new life now we know we'll never have a chance Please stay with us though We love the music we love who you are more than you could ever know Never leave your career behind it means too much to you and the rest of us need it too! So Taylor Hanson, today on your 1 week anniversary congratulations are in order, to you. |
