| Boys Dont Cry *I would say Im sorry if I thought that it would change your mind *But I know that this time I have said too much; been too unkind *I tried to laugh about it cover it all up in lies *I tried to laugh about it hiding the tears in my eyes *Cause boys dont cry *Boys dont cry Scott, come on. I said I was sorry, Taylor said, banging his fist against the door that separated him and his lover. A light laugh was in his voice at the silliness of their fight, but none of this was funny. Tears were already filling his eyes, but he was not about to cry. He just couldnt. They had fought, about what, Taylor didnt remember exactly, but what he did remember was that there were mean vicious words said, mostly from Taylor, and sorry wasnt going to cut it this time. *I would break down at your feet and beg forgiveness, plead with you *But I know that its too late and now there nothing I can do. Lately they fought more and ore over less and less. The littlest things set eachother off into rages, harming everything in their path. When they weren't fighting, Taylor couldnt help but worry about their next fight and tears would well up, never allowed to fall. No begging or pleading would get him out of this one. *I tried to laugh about it cover it all up in lies *I tried to laugh about it hiding the tears in my eyes *Cause boys dont cry *Boys dont cry *I would tell you that I loved you if I though that you would stay *But I know that its no use and youve already gone away The door opened suddenly, startling Taylor. Catching the glare on Scott's face sent shivers up and down his spine. He held a small, green duffel bag in his clenched fist and stuffed a last few items into it. Scott- Taylor was cut off by Scott. I dont want to hear it. The coldness in his voice couldve made all the earths oceans freeze over. Taylor turned away, the tears threatening to fall. He couldnt let Scott see him like that. But- his words caught in his throat as he turned to see the door shutting, leaving him alone. I love you, he whispered to the empty air. *This just your limit *Ive pushed you too far *I took you for granted *I thought that you needed me more Scott was so sensitive when you got to know him and Taylor had pushed him too far with this last fight. He was everything to him. He needed him back. He couldnt last a day without his Scott. He took him for granted, but he knew now. He was going to get him back. *I would do most anything to get you back by my side Taylor ran out of the door chasing Scott down the hall at a full sprint. When he finally caught up to him, he spun Scott around and muttered Im sorry and I love you. Scott pushed the tears back in his eyes with his hand and smiled wearily, dropping his bag and hugging Taylor. He wrapped his arms tightly around the slender boy in front of him. *I tried to laugh about it cover it all up in lies *But I just keep on laughing and hiding the tears in my eyes *Cause boys dont cry *Boys dont cry *Boys dont cry I love you too. And Im sorry too, Scott whispered into Taylors ear, his hot breath tickling him. Taylor smiled into Scott's shoulder and laughed, relieved. Scott was here, back where he shouldve been the whole time, in Taylors arms. Finally, standing in the hall of their apartment building, Taylor let himself cry. He didnt care who saw him and it really didnt matter, because boys *DO* cry ~Fin~ |
