Alder- This tree is used to create dyes, but each color (red, green or brown) are taken from each part of the tree.

Apple- Sacred to Diana, the goddess of the little people. Plus you burn bark in honor of faery folk on Midsummers eve.

Ash
- It is the sacred tree of the Norse people nd the favorite tree of elves. Faeries dwell where these trees are grown closely together. With Oak and Hawthorn, it is a part of the faerie triad.

Birch
- The Scottish people placed a twig of the birch tree in a cradel for the baby not to be stolen form a ferie, and the faeries favorite mushroom (the red and white fly agaric) grow under this tree.

Blackthorn
- The blackhorns thickets are guarded by small, hairless elves that congregate there.

Elder
- Its usually called the witches tree, the elder provides protection for the faeries in exchange for the same protection from them..

Hawthorn
- Its the favorite of the little people, also the leaves are part of Jack-in-the-green costume. Part of faerie triad along with ash and oak.

Hazel-
Faeries love hazelnuts, and elves use its slender to make wands.

Oak-
Saying that goes "Faerie folks are in old oaks." Part of faerie triad along with hawthorn and ash.

Rowan-
Faeries love this tree. It is called a witch ban because it protects against witches and evil spirts. Rowan jelly is a favorite food of the faerie.

Willow
- Faeries like to make wands out of this tree, it is one of their favorite ones to make wands with.
