Untouched Feelings

The feelings he keeps inside,
Are the only reason he knows he's alive
The pain of her rejection is so strong,
Wondering where does he belong?
The love for her is overwhelming,
Though with her there is no telling
For she does not feel the same,
This love he shall always proclaim
Lost inside his mind with untouched feelings,
Only wanting her love to bring on his healing
Knowing it could never be, fills his soul with tears,
For what he wants is to hold this dear so near
Though he knows it will never be,
Without her love, he shall never be free
So he sits and wonders why,
Through her eyes, he is not alive
This particular poem I did not create alone, the meaning in which it brings is not something from within myself, it was a wonderful suggestion from a friend of mine to write. Some of the words in this are from my wonderful man. Thank you to you both for the aide in creation of this poem.
