Hatred

It's hard to understand the way some minds think,
The thoughts they display is almost too much to drink,
The hate that consumes them is so disturbing,
To them there will never be any reassuring,
For they believe in their mind they are always right,
And to disagree will only result in a fight,
It's a shame to know they feel this way,
And to know that they will till their dying day,
For they have so much hate, they will never be eased,
No matter what is done, they will never be pleased,
The worst of it all is when it's a loved one,
Knowing whatever you try, nothing can be done,
To make this person live a fulfilling life,
One that is lacking so much strife,
All you can do is try your best,
Not to be just like the rest,
Just try to bring them the love they need,
Let them know in life, it's not all greed,
Some people do things just to be nice,
Not everything in life comes at a price,
Some of us have genuine feelings,
And only want to help in their healing
