| OKAY..... I'm trying to keep up, and not been doing a very good job. I promise to try harder. So since I dont know what's been happening with you all.... Here's what's up with us : Come August, Terry and I will be married a whole year. I know... hard to believe... but true. Alot has happened in our little part of the world. Not long after the wedding, we bought some more farm ground and pasture with a house and farmstead including shed, barn, corrals, and lots of trees. We did some minor remodeling, and moved in October. Not long after, we began our cow heard with 16 bred cows, all which now have babies, and we have a new bull to keep them company. I have a big garden started, and several flower and landscaping projects in the making. We also have a new cow dog, Toby, and our other dog, Brandy, to add to the family, plus a few cats. Jessie is really enjoying the life on the farm. We are only 2 miles from our little town of Utica. In February, Jessie's adoption was final, and Terry is now officially her daddy, and she is very proud to be a "Bernbeck:" There has been several adjustments made, but Jessie and her new Daddy are really loving and enjoying each other. Come the first of April, Terry and I opened our own business. Terry has partnered with his dad in dirt construction (terraces, waterways, conservation) and we have now bought our own equipment and are running TLB Dirt Construction. Things are going really well so far. All is well with the big kids, too. They are glad that school is almost over for the year. Lots of sports activities kept us busy for most of the year.
