Description
This introductory course to publishing web pages provides students with
a comprehensive study of the three key areas in web page publishing.
- HTML fundamentals are covered that introduoes the HTML scripting
language, document framework, basic body elements, and HTML assistants.
- Intermediate web publishing features are covered that adds visual and
multimedia effects to web pages. Topics covered include additional HTML
tags for tables, frames, images, animation, sound and video.
- Approaches for creating interactive web pages are covered to show leading
-edge techniques for adding forms, style sheets, and embedded scripts. These
techniques enable the web page designer to add innovative formatting features
and ~dd dynamic HTML features to web pages.
This course is designed for students who are interested in a more complete
understanding of preparing web pages, as well as those students who are
interested in exploring advanced topics for enhancing web pages. Students will
submit weekly assignments demonstrating mastery of html, and produce a personal
web project using html.
