LK|Dragon has left Litespeed Killers due to his dislike of the clan and its activities. Since he provided us with the teamspeak server, we no longer have that... but it's not like we ever used it. We used it once but nobody even talked. Anyway, farewell to dragon, and for right now we will be recruiting a couple more members. But i want to warn those who have not been active, you may find yourselves kicked out of the clan soon... watch your backs!
The site hasn't been updated in a long time, but that is mainly because there isn't much new. It's smooth sailing for a week or two as we do training matches in our new dedicated server, thanks to LK|Shadow for getting it up. We now also have a TeamSpeak server, and the details on that are viewable in the forums. Also, LK|Chaos is finally becoming more and more active, and i have been doing warthogging with him in sidewinder at night when nobody else is on. Hopefully he will be in some clan trainings soon. Don't forget to check out the screenshots section, i got 2 more screens for ya. Other than that, nothing big is happening.
Not much of an update today. I added a link to Xfire on the links page, and added a news article on recruiting complete on the news page. Go check them out. Otherwise we're starting our training phase, so we will have one or two training matches daily depending on the amount of people online when we hold them. Try to be online at night if you can, because most training matches will take place after 9:00 EST. Good luck and try your best!
The new recruits are coming in fast, we already have 5 members that we got from recruiting to give us a total so far of 11 members. Thanks to LK|Shadow for hosting the tryouts. So right now we hit a good spot on members, we just need to make sure everyone has the right stuff and they sign up for everything, and then we can finally start the clan matches. Stay tuned!
I got the screenshots page up, and amazingly we already filled up 2 and 1/2 pages of screens! Me and Shadow went into a private blood gulch game coming up with some good screenshots for the site. 2 of them are strangely screwed up (and no, i didn't invert them) but out of the 22 shots he took, we got 10 good ones. Try not to submit screenshots unless you think they're really worth it. I think we have more than enough for now.
The scoreboards page is now up. The table looks sucky, but geocities has no fancy create-a-table option, so this baby is made from pure html. No scores yet, since we haven't played any training matches yet, but when we do that scoreboard will be updated. Now that we have our leaders set, you can contact either me, LK|Shadow, or LK|Chaos for anything, we'll be in charge. Also, we got 2 new members from [DaC], LK|Dragon and LK|Lemon. The funny thing is, we have 6 members, but we haven't started recruiting yet!
We have the Links and Member pages up now, so we're just waiting until we get some training matches started for the scores page, and we need to start collecting some good screenshots. Wrod is now out about the clan, and it turns out Ghost ended [DaC] almost as soon as he broke the news to him. So no challenging them, but we can still challenge sarge's clan. Ghost has now joined LK as LK|Prophet.
The site and forums are up for our newly created Halo PC clan, Litespeed Killers. Made by 2 members from the Destroy and Command clan ([DaC]) who broke away to create their own clan. [DaC] was too much for me to handle being a co-captain, but hopefully LK will be easier on me. [DaC] wasn't going in the right direction. The website sucked, we only had 5 active members, one member left to start his own clan and took a member that tried out for [DaC] with him. Our only wins were to forfeits, and our losses were in the only 2 games we actually played. But LK|Shadow, [DaC]Chaos and I are a very good warthog team and we hope to bring the same teamwork into LK to make for a good chance against other clans.
