| Below are two examples of custom ketubot. The Pawlan Ketuba features photos of the bride and groom at their engagement, and their parents, grandparents and siblings at their own wedding. Such family photomontages have also been commissioned for special birthdays and anniversaries. The technique was developed by the artist, using family photographs provided to create personal artworks in editions as large as requested. The Piermont Ketuba has hand-tinted watercolor borders and floral design surrounding screenprinted text. Creation of ketubot generally require a minimum of three months. | These Torah books are the culmination of a four and a half year project, calligraphing and screen printing the English version of the Torah in Uncial script. The chapter titles are in Hebrew, screenprinted in embossed gold. There are five oversized books, over 500 pages altogether, each two-page spread screenprinted separately. At the end of each chapter, the artist created an image that related to that chapter's teaching. Individual chapters may be printed on request for B'nai Mitzvot, weddings, or other special occasions. Selections from these books can be seen on request. |
