Chapter 2
Ok here we are back again with more pictures and stories for everyone! It has been a few weeks since we have updated and we have more pictures now so here it goes.
Now where did I leave off..ok I remember now. Prague is getting better each day we are here. We have our good days and not so good ones, but are managing. We only have a few pictures at this time and will have more ready in a week or so for everyone to see.
As much as we love it here in Europe we are finding that we are both homesick and miss everything and everyone very much!
Everything here is going ok except for a few bad issues that have happened to us and other people in the group. About two weeks ago our digital camera was stolen out of my purse while travelling on the tram. Also we had rented a car for the weekend and it was parked outside the apartment. Jeff went out the next morning and it had been broken into. One of the other fellows had their apartment broken into and his guitar stolen. So we found out very quickly that you need to be extra careful living in this big city. You need to know your surroundings at all times and not let your guard down. At times that can be stressful because that is all that you are thinking about, and it distracts from your daily activities. But overall it still is an adventure.

also is part of the team with Jeff. These two women and I go out and
explore Prague together! and get into trouble!! Trouble....not me!! I
never get into trouble..yeah...right.... :)

Now here is a story for everyone. We
only have one vacuum cleaner between everyone to share in all of the
apartments. The bag was full and we needed to replace it. Charlotte
decided that since she didn't know which bag we needed she was just going
to take the old one....which she did..but she did not dump the dirt out of
it. Brought bag and dirt to the local Tesco dept. store and here we are
shopping with our dirt.!! she didn't think just to write the model of the
machine!! We all had a good laugh that day!  |
Trying to figure out which bag we
need. We spent a good half hour in this aisle! I had a good laugh!

| TA DA!!!!!! we finally find a bag that
might work. So we dump the old bag and dirt and head home to see if it
will work. If it doesn't we will make it fit!!

The day is Saturday March 30,2002
Jeff's mom and dad have landed in Prague and here they are after getting through customs.

| They look pretty good for traveling a
long time.
|
We bring them to their apartment to get settled and rest for a few hours and then their vacation will start. We cannot waste any time at all. Have so much to do and little time to do it in. |
