Discovery Channel Filming
Day One
The Discovery Channel decided to do a program on births in unusual places and somehow their researcher found the story of Zach's birth (he was born in our car as we were speeding down the road toward the hospital) and decided that they would like to cover us. So on February 4th and 5th, a small crew of 4 arrived from London: a photographer (Hugh), a sound operator (Steve), a director (Virginia), and an all-around do-it guy (Dan). (Ok - Dan-the-man was a gopher, but his job really was just as important as the others'!)

Victoria, Hugh, and Dan rearrange the diningroom/livingroom to set up an armchair in just the perfect spot for the interview. |

Dan looks on and waits for a mission while Hugh and Steve set up the lighting and sound. Victoria and Hugh discuss the painstaking details of where each light will go and each light diffuser to get exactly the lighting that Victoria wants. |
