| These two photos show the all important mounting of the "Collet -Struts". Rifle provides these with the mounting kit. The Brass nipple shown allows adjustment. Below this you can see the mounting Bolt and Nut on the Bottom of the strutt --- This bolt PASSES THROUGH THE STOCK FAIRNG MOUNT, providing a very secure mounting point. The top goes to the fairings mounting frame. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| The bottom mounts. One small problem -- the provided hose clamps are too small -- you will need to buy a pair of larger ones at your local Auto parts store. You can see the bolt heads on the right. | If left un-trimmed, the cockpit's Dash would cover the top portion of the Tach & Speedo. Unfortunately, with everything black, it is hard to see where the cut is -- but a piece of moulding can be seen just above the gauges. The rough cut I made can be seen on the right as the Dash ends before the windscreen -- you can do better. Again -- if you screw up the Dash -- you can get another for about $20. It does not destroy the fairing! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
