U2: All That You Can't Leave Behind.(ATYCLB)
u2
My Favourite band(unless you can't tell by the size of the picture), ATYCLB is a return to form i feel for U2 after their previous album('POP'), which was good, but seemed to be missing something, in their latest album this gap seems to be filled.    Altough it seems to be more of a 'single friendly' album, but the lyrics in songs like 'beutiful day' and 'stuck in a moment' have real meaning behind them compared to your standard pop song on the charts, the latter song being dedicated to Michael Hutchence.
Before this Album Bono was having serious trouble with his voice apparently, but he obviously sorted it, because you can't really tell whether he had a problem at all. The Edge proves yet again (with Bono) that he can come up with original melodies and create good riffs.
Tracks that stick out the most; 'beutiful day', 'elevation', 'New York', 'grace' and a very sentimental track, 'The Ground Beneath Her Feet', which appeared in the failed(but i think good) film 'The Million Dollar Hotel'.
Rating out of 5? I'll give it 4, i think there are too many 'single friendly' tracks, otherwise, its pretty good.
