Turin Brakes: The Optimist Lp
The one main track that sticks out from the album would have to be 'Mind over Money', which is odd as the track is number 11 out of 12. Really it should have been put in earlier in the album. Don't get me wrong though, the Optimist Lp is good. I just feel it could have been better or more, I dunno....inspirational. Apart from 'Mind over Money', tracks 'Feeling oblivion','Underdog(save me)','State of things' and 'The door'seem to find thier footing more. The rest of the songs are good, but they're not as distinctive as the ones mentioned above.
Turin Brakes show promise and are bound to create something even better in the future. I live in hope.
