Pray!!!
The week of November 10-17 is an international week of prayer for the persecuted church.  Below is a list of the 25 countries that persecute Christians the most.  Please pray for Christians in these countries (and others) that they will persevere in their faith and trust God to sustain them.  Pray also for non-Christians in these areas that they will somehow have an opportunity to hear the Gospel and even come to know Jesus.
1. North Korea--the current dictator seeks to be worshipped himself; in spite of intense persecution, Christianity continues to grow.

2.
Saudi Arabia--home to the Islamic holy cities of Mecca and Medina, Saudi Arabia requires all citizens to be Muslim.  Converts to other religions may face the death penalty.  Arrest, torture and imprisonment are not uncommon forms of persecution.

3.
Laos--in this communist country, the gospel is strongly opposed, with Christians being accused of being CIA agents.  Permission to print religious literature cannot be obtained.  Once identified, Christians usually lose their jobs.

4.
Vietnam--in this communist country, church meetings are closed, Bibles are burned, and Christians are fined and imprisoned.  Some have tried to force reconversion to animism by forcing Christians to drink a cocktail of goat's blood and rice wine.

5. Turkmenistan                                16. Azerbaijan
6. Maldives                                       17. Nigeria (north)
7. Bhutan                                          18. Yemen
8. Pakistan                                        19. Comoro Islands
9. Afghanistan                                   20. Colombia
10. Somalia                                       21. Cuba
